Hoshizaki America Inc.: Cuber Ice Machine

The KM-255 BAH Crescent Cuber ice machine has built-in storage. The unit produces up to 235 pounds of ice within 24 hours with a built-in storage bin holding 120 pounds. The self-contained design is available as an air-cooled model. HoshiGuard Antimicrobial Agent protects the unit within the ice-making zone. The self-contained unit also complies with all government guidelines, specifically the new California Energy Commission (CEC) requirement. It features a stainless steel evaporator with no plating or chipping, which allows for individual crescent cubes to be formed on both sides of the evaporator. According to the manufacturer, the design allows for the freezing of the purest water and formation of crystal-clear cubes. The EverCheck® Alert System sounds an audible warning when the machine is in need of service. The CycleSaver® design allows the cuber to produce the same quantity of ice in about half the cycles of the other ice machines, said the company.
