The Slimlineâ„¢ variable-frequency drive (VFD) bypass assembly is the smallest "true" electrical bypass assembly available in the HVAC industry today, claims the manufacturer. The VFD bypass assembly allows full-speed motor operation with the VFD completely removed, while the two- and three-contactor designs make it possible to switch to bypass, regardless of the VFD's condition. Mounting kits help make installation of the assembly easy. The units can be ordered pre-assembled in frames 4, 5, 6, and 7, providing applications from 1.5 to 75 hp.
