The Model C8600A 1000 residential carbon monoxide (CO) alarm is designed to help customers detect potential gas leaks associated with household appliances, says the manufacturer. The alarm features built-in microprocessor intelligence, self tests every 10 minutes, and includes a supervising sensor and alarm circuit status to ensure proper functioning. The alarm comes with a bracket plate and a tamper pin, and operates on a 9-V alkaline battery.
