The SuperVentâ„¢ is a device designed to eliminate air from hydronic heating systems without bleeding. Unlike conventional automatic air vents, this unit breaks up air bubbles with a patented functional principle, claims the company. The air eliminator features a no-clog vent assembly and a 360-degree adjustable collar ring. According to the manufacturer, the SuperVent absorbs stagnant air pockets, eliminates gurgling noises, and improves heat transfer. Attached to the lifting arm is a lightweight plastic hexagonal float, which quickly reacts to the slightest fluctuations in water level, the company says. When a surge in water pressure occurs, the float immediately springs upward, causing the gasket to seal the venting area; this allows rising air to escape in a controlled fashion after the water level drops.
