Honeywell Conference

MINNEAPOLIS - Honeywell held its third Momentum Conference; an energy, environmental and economic idea exchange attended by more than 350 Honeywell distributors and integrators serving the building industry with integrated HVAC, security, video, and intrusion products and solutions. The Momentum 2011 conference featured a variety of informative workshops, industry forums, and networking events.

“As energy-efficient technology continues to grow, Honeywell is focused on providing customers with the guidance and technology to generate new business and to manage their customer’s energy consumption,” said Tom Rosback, vice president and general manager for Honeywell’s Commercial Control Systems business. “We are continuing to invest in new product introductions and are helping to target and install integrated control systems through productive tools, programs, quality systems, and support.”

Several new products were highlighted at the Momentum Conference including: C-bus driver, JADE™, an economizer system, Zelix™ Sylk®-enabled actuator, and WEBs-AX™ Security.

In addition to the workshops, Honeywell recognized the winners of its Distributor and Contractor of the Year awards. Engineered Controls Inc. received the 2010 Contractor of the Year Award.

“Engineered Controls earned this important designation through its exceptional performance,” said Dave Molin, general manager, Honeywell Building Control Systems. “By demonstrating their expertise and knowledge of the industry, Engineered Controls focused on growth opportunities in health care, government, and education. This is Engineered Controls’ second Contractor of the Year award, and it is their dedication to growth and development that continues to make them succeed.”

Honeywell Authorized Controls Integrators (ACI ) compete for the award, which is based on volume, major project wins and completions, creative solutions, technical competency and the commitment to work with additional Honeywell business groups.
