Employees of Fort Myers, Fla., based Home-Tech decked their table - co-sponsored by Carrier - and themselves in an Alice in Wonderland motif at Edison State College’s eighth annual POPs Concert at Sunset and won the best overall design prize.

The concert raises funds for student scholarships. Each year, the school challenges event sponsors to decorate the tables at the concert that accompany their sponsorship packages.

“We were pleased to sponsor this event and support continuing education in our community in such a fun and creative way,” said Home-Tech founder and CEO Steve Marino, who dressed as the White Rabbit. “My family, employees, and our guests really enjoyed dressing up and attending the show. Winning the best overall table prize was just icing on the cake.”

Founded in 1981, the privately held Home-Tech employs 127 people and provides services in Lee, Charlotte, Collier, Sarasota, and Manatee counties in southwest Florida. Home-Tech operates from two principal locations. Its headquarters, tech training facility, and appliance showroom are located at 6400 Techster Boulevard in Fort Myers and a second office on Lena Road in Bradenton services Manatee and Sarasota counties.
