Several types of flexible hose and ducting are flame-retardant to UL94V-0 and are UL recognized products for safety-critical air-handling applications such as ventilation, filtering, and fume evacuation. Hoses are available in standard 25-foot lengths and can be cuffed for easy installation and tighter seals. The 2PN, a polyester hose coated with neoprene and reinforced with a wire helix, provides durability for positive- or negative-pressure movement of light particles or materials as well as for blower, exhaust, or smoke-removal systems in car washes, shipyards, welding sites, etc. Withstanding service temperatures from -40° to 250°F, the hose is available in one- or two-ply versions in diameters of 1-24 inches, with or without cuffed ends, and can be specially fabricated for static-discharge or nonconductive applications. TD-S/TD-HS, a one- or two-ply vinyl laminate polyester hose with an enclosed helix of spring steel for flexibility, features a heavy-duty wearstrip that resists abrasion in temporary or mobile applications requiring the hose to be dragged. Withstanding service temperatures from -40° to 180°, these hoses are available in diameters of 3-12 inches as well as custom diameters and lengths.
