The redesigned remote indoor compressor units and water-cooled condensing units are specifically designed for use in supermarkets, restaurants, warehouses, and other commercial and industrial applications. The electrical box design permits easy removal, which provides convenient front access to the oil pump and compressor, says the company. Each unit comes with features such as dual pressure switches, sealed suction filters, electric defrost timers, and crankcase heaters. According to the company, the systems also have easy-access refrigerant piping; prebent tubing which reduces the possibility of leaks; spacious, prepainted electrical boxes; and vibration eliminators on spring-mounted compressors. These units are available through the Bohn, Larkin, Chandler, and Climate Control brands.
