HARDI Conference Sets Bar High

COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Heating, Airconditioning and Refrigeration Distributors International (HARDI) 2007 Annual Fall Conference, scheduled for Oct. 6-9, will be held at the Orlando World Center Marriott Resort, Orlando, Fla. The annual conference brings together key personnel from member wholesale/distributor firms throughout the world along with chief representatives from manufacturing firms. Attendees experience four days of education, networking, and the general promotion of excellence in HVACR wholesale distribution.

More than 1,300 HVACR industry executives met during the record-setting 2006 conference, which many members described as the biggest and best HARDI Annual Conference to date.

Many members and companies also received recognition for their continued support of the association. A few notable recognitions went to Sam Roti of Mueller Industries Inc., who received the 2006 Booster award for his individual and consistent service to HARDI distributors. The recipient of the new Market Center Distribution award was Nu-Calgon in recognition and appreciation of their dedication to HARDI and distribution in the HVACR industry.

The board of directors extended their deep appreciation to two distributors, Roger McDaneld, Charles D. Jones & Co., and David Boggs, Lyon, Conklin & Co. Inc., for their effective leadership and service as trustees and committee and council chairs. Both retiring gentlemen were honored for their contributions to the association and the wholesale distribution industry.
