Last month Honeywell celebrated the 50th anniversary of The Round® thermostat. The company has invited consumers to share stories about “the little things that make a comfortable home.” Honeywell will reward four winning submissions — from childhood memories to stories of present-day family traditions — by awarding “home comfort makeovers” valued at $5,000 each. The Honeywell comfort makeover, depending on homeowner needs, will combine digital programmable thermostats, temperature zoning, remote energy management, plus indoor air quality systems like whole-house ventilation, electronic air filtration, and ultraviolet treatment. Homeowners can enter by visiting www.comfortmakeover.com. Submissions must be received by Nov. 14, 2003.
