BANGOR, Maine - Hallowell International has announced a new distribution partnership with Dakota Supply Group. The company will supply Hallowell’s Acadia: Combined Heating and Cooling System to homeowners and businesses throughout North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and northwest Iowa.

According to Hallowell, the Acadia is a single system engineered to comfortably heat and cool homes in all weather conditions, even temperatures as cold as -30°F. Through patented boosted compression technology, it is said to operate much more efficiently than a conventional heat pump, eliminating the need for a supplemental heat source.

The companies said the partnership will allow Dakota Supply Group to round out its selection of green products for the residential and light commercial marketplace, while providing Hallowell with an expanded network of customer support and training facilities across the Midwest.

“The Acadia: Combined Heating and Cooling System gives contractors the capability to offer their customers an energy efficient, environmentally friendly, and affordable alternative to conventional fossil fuel systems and is a welcome addition to our green offerings,” said Ryan Tracy, Dakota Supply Group’s branch and mechanical group manager.

“We are pleased to partner with Dakota Supply Group to offer this new and affordable approach for heating and cooling to consumers in the Dakotas, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Iowa,” said Dan Davis, vice president of sales and marketing at Hallowell International.
