The Swifter line (SW Series) industrial fiber-glass axial props can be used in cooling tower, condenser, chiller, air-cooled heat exchanger, ventilator, and spray booth applications. These props are available in standard diameters from 20 to 60 in. Due to the fiberglass blade construction, the props have better structural integrity and can usually be operated at higher rpm limits for increased airflow than can fabricated sheet metal- or thermoplastic-blade props, states the company. According to the manufacturer, the props combine advanced composite technology and optimized aerodynamic blade profiles that provide greater corrosion resistance from exposure to chemicals and moisture, as well as higher total efficiency and less blade vibration for quieter operation.
