Globalliance Created To Offer Logistics Services Worldwide

MEMPHIS, TN — Purchased Parts Group and its logistics service provider, Advanced Logistics Solutions, has joined Globalliance, a newly launched global cooperative for specialized logistics and transportation services.

The alliance has three aims:

  • Offer a personalized, high level of service;

  • Exchange best practices with similarly structured foreign companies to the advantage of existing customers; and

  • Win new customers by means of a broader geographical presence and the increased depth of specialized knowledge within the alliance.

    Globalliance has subsidiaries in Germany, United Kingdom, Benelux, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Canada, U.S., and Mexico. Member companies include WM-Group, Bibby Distribution, LogiDocks, and Purchased Parts Group/Advanced Logistics Solutions. The membership is expected to expand in the coming months.

    “Globalliance allows customers to carry out their worldwide expansion plans with logistics partners they know and trust, and who understand their requirements to the last detail,” explains Lee Mulkey, president and CEO of Purchased Parts Group/Advanced Logistics Solutions.

    Purchased Parts Group/Advanced Logistics Solutions is composed of nearly 20 locations in the U.S., UK, Canada, and Mexico. It specializes in small parts management and specialized logistics services such as plant provider programs, line sequencing, contract warehousing, subassemblies, finished goods management, and packaging. These services will be extended to the customers of all Globalliance member companies. Likewise, the Globalliance members will provide matching services to fulfill customers' needs in Europe, including transportation.

    “Global companies need global partners and solutions they can trust, and Globalliance fills this need,” says Mulkey.
