GE Sensing & Inspection Technologies: Humidity Transmitter

The HumiTrac™ XR is the latest version of the HumiTrac humidity transmitters. It measures dew point, wet bulb, and enthalpy in one transmitter. This combination allows energy flow to be controlled without the need for complex programming within a building management system. According to the manufacturer, the transmitter provides key information to help facility managers make better decisions regarding IAQ and efficiency of the HVAC system. A few adjustments based on this information can lead to potential energy and cost savings, says the company. It has a compact, rugged design and can be user configured for both current (4-20 mA) and voltage (0-5 or 0-10V) outputs. The transmitter uses low-cost field-replaceable rh and temperature sensors that eliminate calibration downtime and make field service simple and quick.
