Gargaro's World: Bush Weighs in on Global Warming

Since everyone was in agreement on my take on the company Apple (see previous blog), I thought I would take on a less touchy issue - like global warming.

In the past year, the amount of press releases I have seen on green subjects and global warming has been truly staggering. I have not seen this much green since PacMan Jones “made it rain” at my bachelor party.

With that and the upcoming presidential election in mind, I decided to poke around this global warming issue. After doing some checking on the Internet (and we all know that is 100 percent accurate), the best as I can tell, the earth has gone up anywhere from 1°F to 2°F in the last 100 years. So pardon me if I don’t jump on the global warming bandwagon as I type this at my office in Michigan where it is currently 5° outside. If we keep going at this pace, in 200 years I will be going outside to a very balmy 10°.

Am I missing something? Is my handle on global warming about as secure as President Bush’s (see video below.)? Let me have it. That is what the comments section is for.

You obviously haven't seen An Inconvenient Truth. Algore says the oceans will rise 15 feet and Floriday will be under water. Don't you want to take your kids to Disneyworld one day!
