  • United Technologies Corp. (Hartford, CT) has reported a 14% increase in third- quarter 2001 diluted earnings per share, which were $1.12, up from $0.98 in the same quarter of last year. Net income for the third quarter was $565 million, 14% above the $496 million reported in the comparable period in 2000, while revenues for the third quarter rose 7% to $6.9 billion.
  • Noland Company (Newport News, VA) has declared a regular quarterly cash dividend of $0.08, payable on October 25, 2001 to stockholders of record at the close of business October 15, 2001.
  • Dectron Internationale’s (Montreal, PQ, Canada) second-quarter results and net earnings show an increase of 35% compared to the same quarter last year and an increase of 49% for the six-month period ending July 31, 2001. Gross profit for the company is up 4% when compared to the same quarter last year.
  • ACR Group, Inc. (Houston, TX), announced that net income for the six-month period ended August 31, 2001 increased 33% to $1,440,000, or $0.13 per share, from $1,087,000, or $0.10 per share, for the same six-month period in 2000. Sales for the period were $86.2 million, an increase of 17% compared to the previous year.
