The SRS2 wireless refrigerant scale delivers accurate measurements in a heavy-duty design, eliminating the wires that normally connect the hand-held controller and display to the scale platform, said the company. It features a wireless remote with a bright blue backlight for use in poor lighting conditions. A flip-up magnetic ‘hat’ allows a technician to hang the remote at eye level while charging or recovering. The heavy-duty platform is constructed of solid aluminum with ruggedized rubber bumpers. A diamond plate rubber pad holds refrigerant bottles firmly, and the remote stores conveniently in the bottom of the platform. The wireless remote displays signal strength and battery power for both the platform and remote, an auto power off indicator, and refrigerant weights in pounds and ounces or kilograms and grams. The scale features push-button zeroing (tare) and syncing between the remote and the platform. The remote control remembers the last zero point, even after powering on and off, so the user won’t lose the calibration. A 33-foot range gives technicians options while working.
