Heavy-duty SWG Power Venters for the commercial and industrial markets incorporate standard industrial motors built to NEMA 56-C standards. They are designed to vent oil and gas systems up to 3 million Btu input with proper control kit. The series is available in 10-, 12-, and 14-in. sizes and comes with standard, single-phase 115/230-vac TEFC motors. All the units are equipped with a separate motor starter with thermal overload protection. They use 100% negative pressure, pulling the gases through the system and exhausting them outside; the negative pressure allows for use of standard vent pipe and reduces the risk of flue gas leakage, says the company. The venters can be used with almost any oil or gas appliance and can vent several appliances at once.
