TROY, Mich. - Contractors, technicians, and installers can learn the fundamentals of residential hydronic heating by attending an I=B=R Schools training class this spring. The two-day class teaches hydronic heating system design and installation.

The course is developed by the Hydronics Institute Division of the Gas Appliance Manufacturers Association (GAMA) and is administered by BNP Media's conferencing group.

The class encompasses heat loss calculations, pipe sizing, control selection, boiler sizing, baseboard and radiator selection, wiring, circulator selection, indirect water heating, and zoning. It also provides contractors with information on how to save customers energy, as well as reduce costs and earn more profit.
