Feb. 13, 2004: Armstrong Pumps Acquires Howard Anderson

COLCHESTER, England - Armstrong Pumps Limited has acquired the business assets of Howard Anderson Ltd., and the trade names Holden Brooke Pullen, Baric, and RMI. The new company is called Armstrong Holden Brooke Pullen Limited.

The acquisition includes the Holden Brooke Pullen and Baric facilities in Manchester and Redhill, and the RMI facility in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne.

Armstrong is an international provider of a range of fluid handling products for the building services market. Holden Brooke Pullen designs, manufactures, supplies, and services pumps and associated equipment.

Charles A. Armstrong, president of parent company S.A. Armstrong Limited, stated, "I am delighted to announce this strategic acquisition for Armstrong Pumps Limited. The UK facilities will provide centers of expertise for the 50Hz and DIN standard global markets from which we will aggressively grow this business."

The acquisition will provide an expanded product range including circulators, pumps, expansion systems, balancing valves, heat exchangers, HVAC packages, suction guides, triple duty valves, booster systems, variable speed technology, and control systems.
