The EX623 True root mean square (RMS) clamp meter features an infrared (IR) thermometer. The clamp meter-thermometer measures ac voltage and current. The EX623 also features dual thermocouple inputs for T1, T2, and T1-T2 differential temperature measurement. Features include a built-in, noncontact voltage detector with LED alert and data hold, and peak hold of current surges during startup. It provides 40,000-count clamp meter functions for dc voltage, resistance, capacitance and frequency. The unit can measure motor capacitors to 40,000µF and feature a 1.4-inch (36-mm) jaw opening. It has a rugged double-molded housing. The clamp meter comes complete with CAT III-600V, double-molded test leads; a 9-V battery; two type K bead wire probes (-4 to 482°F/-20 to 250°C); and a belt case.
