Engenuity will be the sole distributor for Newron’s products throughout North America.

Newron claims to be one of a few vendors of LonWorks-based products that specializes in the development of both software and hardware for use in industrial and building control systems. The company’s family of I/O products contains more than 45 modules with various configuration options. Newron also offers several types of sensors and signal conditioners, as well as routers and repeaters.

The firm’s software tools for the Windows 95/98/NT operating systems are for use with LNS (LonWorks Network Services) and non-LNS based applications. They allow users to combine management, installation, monitoring, and maintenance into a single convenient function for all nodes included on the network, says the company.
