Emerson Schedules Compressor Seminars

ST. LOUIS - The Compressor Operation & Service Seminars (COSS) from Emerson Climate Technologies have been scheduled throughout 2005 and the remainder of 2004. The seminars focus on hands-on training related to compressor operation and service. Attendees will learn troubleshooting techniques, system components, motor and compressor technology, and perform a teardown.

According to Emerson, the COSS curriculum has been enhanced from previous years. Also, the seminars were recently approved by North American Technician Excellence (NATE) for use toward recertification.

"The revised COSS curriculum supports and enhances Emerson Climate Technologies dedication to specialized training programs that continue to meet the needs of HVACR contractors," said Larry Banas, director of Emerson Climate Technologies Educational Services. "We are dedicated to supporting the contractors and giving them the education they need to grow their business. And because the COSS curriculum is now approved for NATE recertification, we're able to do an even better job of supporting the contractors need for continuing education."
