LOUIS - Emerson Climate Technologies, Inc., launched Copeland X-Ref™, a new
mobile application for iPhone, Droid, and Blackberry mobile devices. Copeland
X-Ref provides on-the-go access to Emerson’s online compressor cross-reference
database for air conditioning products, a tool used by wholesalers and
contractors to get product specifications and determine compatible replacement
Copeland® compressors.
The mobile application includes new functionality for quick and convenient access. Users can pull up information using the first three digits of a compressor model number and the application will then provide service data on three compressor replacement options. Once the correct compressor is identified, users can click on the “where to buy” link for a listing of authorized wholesalers and distributors. In the event a model number can’t be located, a “Can’t Find It” button will generate an e-mail addressed to Emerson customer support.
“It’s critical for contractors and wholesalers to find the right compressor to fit their customers’ needs. By providing access to our product information database right at the point of purchase, we are helping save both time and money,” said Karl Zellmer, vice president of sales, Emerson Climate Technologies Inc., Air Conditioning Division.
The Copeland X-Ref mobile application is available for download on iPhone and iPad mobile digital devices at no charge through Apple’s iTunes® by searching for “Copeland.”
Copeland X-Ref is also available for free through Blackberry App World™ and Android™ Marketplace.
