The Emerson® TFE-Series thermal expansion valve is designed for optimal performance and reliability in commercial R-410A systems. The valve has a 10- to 20-ton application range, replaceable power elements for easy serviceability, and stainless steel power element for corrosion protection. According to the manufacturer, it also provides stable superheat control for greatly enhanced compressor protection and balanced port construction to compensate for changes in operating conditions. Features of the valve include biflow capability for heat pump applications, external superheat adjustment, and precise bulb charging for stable superheat.
