The system monitors and analyzes data from Copeland Scroll® compressors and detects the cause of potentially damaging electrical and system-related failures, thus reducing the time spent by technicians servicing the unit. According to the manufacturer, it improves diagnostic accuracy by 60 percent and reduces callbacks by 50 percent to achieve more accurate troubleshooting and increase contractor profitability. Once attached, Comfort Alert provides around-the-clock monitoring; if a glitch is detected, an LED indicator flashes the proper alert code allowing service pros to quickly and accurately pinpoint the problem. It is designed to work with existing commercial systems as well as newer commercial R-410A systems, helping contractors with 2010 compliance, the manufacturer states.
