The Copeland Scroll® ZRK5 compressor is designed for residential and light commercial air conditioning applications. The unit, for U.S. aftermarket service applications, is optimized for R-22 refrigerant, as well as R-407C. Available from 1.5-5 hp, the compressor consolidates the Copeland Scroll unitary service offering from 51 to 12 basic models, for easier compressor stocking throughout the channel. As an option, the compressor is also available with polyolester lubricant, to further increase application compatibility with both R-22 and HFC refrigerants. For aftermarket service applications, the compressor is shipped in a single pack box with the molded plug wiring harness, mounting parts, and installation instructions.
