The FridgeCare humidity control system is designed for the refrigeration industry. Installed in commercial walk-in refrigeration coolers, the FridgeCare filters are designed to reduce temperatures and humidity fluctuations and maintain optimum humidity levels, thereby extending the shelf life of perishables. According to the manufacturer, it virtually eliminates polluting odors so vegetables remain fresh and crisp and meats retain their juices, thus reducing spoilage and weight loss. The system dramatically reduces icing on walls and floors, reducing opportunities for accidents, the company says. It is environmentally friendly due to the use of natural recyclable materials.
