CINCINNATI - York International, a strategic ally of Excellence Alliance Inc. (EAI), has partnered with the Excellence Alliance Foundation (EAF) to award a $2,000 scholarship to Chippewa Valley Technical College (CVTC) in Eau Claire, Wis.

On April 19, 2005, on behalf of the Foundation, David Carey of York International, and Diane Pavelski, college advancement administrator at CVTC, presented a check for $2,000 to student recipients Mark Mielke and Adam Bauer to continue their studies in HVACR. York International funded the scholarship, and the presentation took place at Chippewa Valley Technical College during its annual scholarship luncheon.

EAF is a nonprofit organization created to attract, educate, and develop students in HVACR programs by awarding as many scholarships as possible for the education of the future workforce in the contracting industry. One hundred percent of all contributions go directly to the Foundation scholarship fund and all administrative expenses are paid by EAI.
