The Ashcroft® DXLdp low-pressure transmitter with SpoolCal™ process valve actuator easily can be validated and calibrated in place without disturbing process tubes or wiring, states the manufacturer. The SpoolCal tees the process pressure out to a hand-held calibrator. A twist to the right puts the user in calibration mode. The front access test jacks provide on-line reference signal without removing wiring, avoiding signal interruption, says the company. The transmitter features 2:1 turndown and range status LEDs for instant troubleshooting information, the manufacturer states.
