What's New

Distech Controls Inc.: Thermostats

Two new product lines of LonMark®-certified communicating thermostats have a cooling temperature sensor range of 54° to 100°F (12° to 37.5°C) and a heating temperature sensor range of 40° to 90° (4.5° to 32°). The thermostats' control accuracy is ±0.9° (±0.5°) at 70° (21°), typically calibrated. The EC-Stat-FC is designed for fan coil applications. All fan coil models feature a configurable system mode button, allowing the user to set the sequence of operation to automatic for optimal temperature control, and to heat or cool for specific operation. The series of devices designed for institutional or commercial use has an override button located on the faceplate, whereas the models for hotel use have a toggle button to switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit. The EC-Stat-ZN is designed for local zoning applications. All digital inputs are programmable. Temperature control is achieved using the unit's proportional integral control algorithm. The device can be configured manually via the buttons on its faceplate or using any LNS® network management tool.
