The PowerFast™ StrapGun™ allows contractors to install 12- or 14-gauge nonmetallic, sheathed cable with two conductors and a ground wire 31/2 times faster than hammer-in staples, says the manufacturer. The lightweight, all-steel tool allows workers to install insulated, UL-listed PowerFast straps with one hand, while the product’s unique guide system positions the strap over the cable, eliminating pinching or cable-cutting risks, the company says. A spring-drive mechanism prevents hand fatigue, while providing high driving-force output, says the manufacturer.
