The Modular Outdoor Air Conditioning System (MOACS) offers flexible, energy-saving systems for humidity control, says the manufacturer. These pre-engineered, assembled, and tested systems employ heating coils, cooling coils, and multi-circuited integral or remote refrigeration packages using multiple scroll compressors. In addition, they employ one or more energy-recovery or energy-saving heat pipes or total energy recovery wheels. A unit can dehumidify outdoor air using less than one-third the energy required by a conventional system, the company says.
