MONTREAL - Dectron Internationale has announced a licensing agreement with Flomerics Inc, a subsidiary of Flomerics Group PLC, a British corporation, giving Dectron exclusive use and promotion of Flovent® for Indoor Pools. Flovent is a computational fluid dynamics (CFD) modeling software package developed to address the needs of those involved in the design and optimization of ventilation systems.

Flomerics designs and develops integrated simulation solutions to predict, assess, and solve design problems. Flovent is a leading software package for the prediction of 3D (three-dimensional) airflow, heat transfer, contamination distribution, and thermal comfort in built environments.

Commenting on the new alliance, Ness Lakdawala, Dectron Internationale's chairman and chief executive officer, stated, "We are very excited about the potential revenue-generating combination between a leading edge fluid dynamics solutions provider and our reputation in the indoor pool air security market."

Brian Monk, vice president of marketing and sales, stated, "One of the most critical considerations in the design of any indoor pool environment and in humidity control is the management of airflow. Flovent accurately addresses such problems by simulating airflow, humidity, and temperature inside any building, whether in residential, commercial, or institutional natatoriums."
