ATLANTA - Automated Logic Corp. (ALC) recently honored its dealers at its annual meeting. The awards are based on superior performance in the field, reputation in the market, sustained yearly growth, and willingness to learn and develop.

The Dealer of the Year award was presented to PC Automated Controls, El Paso, Texas, which is known as the top control company in far western Texas and southern New Mexico, according to the company.

Comfort Control Group, Cleveland, was given the Project of the Year award for Mapleton Local School District, Ashland, Ohio. The school had significant concerns over mounting energy costs. The energy management system was unreliable, with temperatures varying by as much as eight degrees off setpoint. There were multiple equipment failures due to excessive run times and extremely high maintenance costs. Comfort Control installed a new system.

"The results were significant energy savings and one-year simple payback," said Lori Lytle, superintendent. "Comfort Control Group has proven to our district that proper implementation of a quality control system can have a huge impact on the operational costs of our buildings. We are now giving our students and staff a quality learning environment while, at the same time, lowering our operational costs through energy savings."
