In the southern part of Louisiana, flooding has taken its toll in many different ways. One unexpected turn of events is the cancellation of numerous blood drives by United Blood Services. This has caused the supply for the Acadiana Region to drop to a dangerously low level. Because of this, Dave Broussard A/C & Heating has scheduled a blood drive at the shop for the Lafayette, La., area on June 1 from 7:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. The company is encouraging everyone to come out and donate.

With the summer months upon us and patient needs increasing during this time, Dave Broussard A/C & Heating is also challenging all area HVAC companies to come out and show their support. Broussard said that this is a great way for them to show their customers that they care enough to give back the gift of life. The company that has the most employee participation will be featured in Broussard’s monthly newsletter.

“The HVAC industry has a long history of pulling together its resources to help those in need. It is a privilege to belong to such a group and to be able to join forces to save lives in Acadiana,” said Broussard. “We are happy to do our part.”
