MoreDanfoss A/S (Denmark) is in the process of acquiring the district heating division of IWK Regler + Kompensatoren GmbH, owned by IWKA Aktiengesellschaft, headquartered in Stutensee, Germany.
In order to become more attractive as a supplier, Danfoss said it wants to be able to offer global customers a total range of products and services for the district heating sector. It said it will take over all IWK production and sales activities within district heating controls globally before the end of this year.
The agreement is subject to approval by the German Monopolies Control Authority.
