Daikin AC's VRV® III is a variable refrigerant volume air-cooled DX multizone system designed to provide heating and cooling solutions in larger scale buildings. The VRV III features advanced zoning capability with up to 200 percent diversity, a refrigerant auto-charge function, 460 V or 208-230 V capabilities, and features Daikin inverter compressor technology. It has up 20 tons capacity and the ability to connect up to 41 indoor units from one piping network.

Application suggestions include buildings such as hotels, banks, offices, and hospitals. The flexibility of simultaneous cooling and heating from one refrigerant pipe network, using heat recovery systems, is achieved by diverting exhaust heat from indoor units in cooling mode to areas requiring heating. The system uses a Branch Selector (BS) unit to switch the indoor units to heating mode.

Modular, compact, and lightweight units - along with flexible piping and wiring design - help to simplify the installation process. Daikin’s REFNET™ piping system also contributes to reducing installation time and labor.
