Cuyahoga County And Contractor Lauded For Excellence In Energy Efficiency

COLUMBUS, OH — Ohio State Development Director Bruce Johnson congratulated Cuyahoga County Government for its energy-efficient efforts in partnership with the Brewer Garret Co. Brewer Garrett completed lighting retrofits and building automation system upgrades in eight County buildings.

Cuyahoga County government entered into a contractor partnership with Brewer Garrett to address indoor air quality (IAQ) concerns, otherwise known as sick building syndrome. The project successfully enhanced IAQ while achieving reductions in energy consumption. “I applaud Cuyahoga County’s efforts to develop new ways to conserve and reuse energy,” said Johnson. “I encourage all companies and organizations committed to excellence in energy efficiency to apply for next year’s award.”
