The Moon-lighter™ removable truck rack system can be installed and removed in seconds, and it fits neatly in the front and rear corners of either side of a pickup bed, states the company. The rack slips into the truck bed mounting posts and secures to the bed rail with a collared “U” bolt; the bolt and mounting post are all that remains when the rack is removed. The Steel 250 Series is made of 1-3/4-inch square, 14-gauge tubing and will support 250 pounds evenly distributed. Two new versions of the rack system are the Aluminum 250 and the Aluminum 275; they carry 250 pounds and 275 pounds, respectively. They are both made of corrosion-free diamond plate aluminum. Besides toting pipe and other materials horizontally, both of these aluminum models permit ladders to be carried vertically as well as horizontally.
