Critical Environment Technologies Canada Inc.: BACnet Transmitters

The BST BACnet digital gas detection transmitters are configurable and are available with a variety of sensor types - including solid state, electrochemical, catalytic, and PID sensor technologies - to detect a wide range of gases. According to the company, the sensors are accurate enough to measure to occupational health and safety hazardous levels for toxic and combustible gases and oxygen levels. They feature a thermal resetting fuse and LED indicator for power and alarm. The transmitters communicate with a building automation system via BACnet Master-Slave/Token-Passing (MSTP). Options include a field-settable dry contact relay and a local digital display. The PET (Parkade Emissions Transmitter) BACnet transmitter is designed for commercial HVAC applications. Sensors available include CO, nitrogen dioxide, and sulfur dioxide. The transmitter communicates via BACnet protocol MSTP signaling. A four-digit LED display is optional. Both the BST and PET transmitters can be used in nonhazardous (nonexplosion-rated) environments for commercial HVAC and light industrial applications.
