Copeland : Compressor

The Copeland Scrollâ„¢ 30-hp compressor is offered in both a single compressor unit and a 60-hp tandem configuration. The compressors are available for use with R-22 and R-407C. According to the manufacturer, the compressor is ideal for larger commercial applications, such as 30- to 300-ton air conditioning systems and chillers found in shopping centers, office buildings, and hospitals. Costs are reduced in large rooftop and chiller applications due to the reduction in the total number of scroll compressors and the amount of piping and wiring needed, the company says.
