The DPP400 digital, pen-style, pocket test thermometer has been made waterproof, allowing the unit to be used in heavy steam- and condensation-filled environments, as well as underwater. The bright yellow color of the thermometer helps to keep it from being misplaced while on the jobsite, says the manufacturer. The unit features an on-off button, automatic shut-off after 5 min of nonuse, minimum-maximum, temperature hold, and °F/°C switchability. Temperature range is -40° to 392°F (-40° to 200°C).
