The DPP400 digital pen-style pocket test thermometer has been made more adaptable for food applications by making the unit waterproof. Features include an on-off button, automatic shutoff after 5 min of nonuse, min/max temperature readings, °F/°C switchable, and a hold feature that allows the operator to maintain the current temperature for documentation or until a better view of the display is obtained. A temperature range of -40° to 392°F (-40° to 200°C) and quick response make the unit suitable for a variety of working environments, the company says.
