The new, state-of-the-art portable evaporative cooler has an aerodynamic design that increases airflow and cooling power, while being even quieter than previous models, states the manufacturer. It is available with a 36-in. fan in a single- and three-speed model. Features include thicker, 8-in. cooling pads; a commercial-grade, heavy-duty, corrosion-free polyethylene housing; and electrical terminals and connections encased in watertight enclosures. A 115-V electrical supply is required. For the water supply, a garden hose can be used; a portable water tank is available as an option for using in those applications where access to a main water supply is not possible. It can be used to spot cool in open spaces, body shops, automotive service facilities, aircraft hangers, retail stores, and at outdoor events such as weddings, receptions, and corporate outings.
