Contractors Join Star Program

ROCKVILLE, Md. - The Mechanical Service Contractors of America (MSCA) announced that 11 new contractors have qualified for MSCA STAR status. MSCA STAR is a national qualification program that honors companies who meet or exceed operating and training standards set by MSCA.

The 11 new STAR contractors join 18 additional MSCA members who have also qualified this year. Twenty-eight of the 2006 STAR-qualified companies were recognized at the recent MSCA national conference in Charleston, S.C.

A total of 69 MSCA member companies have reached STAR status since the program was introduced in 2004. STAR-qualified companies are confirmed and verified by MSCA and the National Inspection Testing Certification (NITC).

The newest MSCA member contractors to become STAR-qualified are: AMI Services Inc., Waldwick, N.J.; Goyette Mechanical Co. Inc., Flint, Mich.; Linc Mechanical, Woburn, Mass.; McKenney’s Inc., Atlanta; Monsen Engineering Co., Fairfield, N.J.; RECCO, Woburn, Mass.; S.A. Comunale Co. Inc., Barberton, Ohio; Temperature Engineering Corp., Sterling Heights, Mich.; The Fagan Co., an EMCOR Co., Kansas City, Kan.; Total Maintenance Inc., Bettendorf, Iowa; and Wolin & Associates Inc., West Des Moines, Iowa.
