Coastline Offers EPA Certification

Coastline Distribution, headquartered in Altamonte Springs, Fla., is offering EPA certification to all students, technicians, and contractors in the HVACR industry.

According to the company, "Coastline is aware that the EPA certification is essentially a license to work. (So we want to) accommodate all of the new technicians entering the industry as well as those who seek to upgrade their certification."

Coastline announced two programs in this regard. The company will hold regularly scheduled classes for Type I, Type II, Type III, and Universal Technician Certification. The class is open to new persons in the industry as well as those who seek to upgrade their certification. For example, a person with a Type I certification, can work with Coastline to upgrade to Universal.

In addition to the classes, Coastline also has a self-study program. A test taker can read a 13-page book at home and then can contact a local branch of Coastline to arrange a mutually agreeable time to come in and take the exam.

Coastline, a Watsco company, has branches in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, and Washington, D.C.

For information on its EPA certification programs, call 800-776-9337, ext. 4875.
