OKLAHOMA CITY - CMP Corp. selected Ben Harrison as its newest president and COO. A 28-year veteran of CMP and former CMP vice president, Harrison is only the second person to hold the presidency since the organization opened its doors in 1966.

“I am honored to be chosen as president and COO of CMP,” said Harrison. “The company has grown significantly in the last 10 years, but our commitment to service has not changed. I am proud to lead CMP as it continues to expand into new markets and new realms of manufacturing. ”

According to the company, Harrison’s appointment to president is one of many strategic changes to take place at the 41-year-old manufacturer. Over the past few years, CMP has experienced unprecedented growth. Last year, it acquired local custom manufacturer Glen Tool Inc., enabling CMP to add a custom parts division to its client services. “Ben Harrison’s selection as president creates an exciting opportunity for us to develop CMP into one of the premier manufacturers of specialized parts for a quickly increasing customer base,” said Jon Croy, CEO, CMP.

To keep up with its expansion, CMP is currently adding another 40,000 square feet to its Oklahoma City headquarters. Additionally, it has broadened its manufacturing scope to include parts for refrigerated delivery vehicles.
