Clockwork Home Services Acquires Sutherlin

GREENCASTLE, Ind. - Clockwork Home Services Inc. has announced its acquisition of Sutherlin Inc., based in Greencastle, Ind., and doing business as One Hour Air Conditioning & Heating by Joe Ellis. The acquired company will continue to operate in its respective market under the One Hour Air Conditioning & Heating by Joe Ellis brand as a fully-owned Clockwork retail unit.

Under the terms of the deal, Clockwork is assuming ownership, rights, and use of Sutherlin’s assets, intellectual property, trucks, equipment, and offices. Sutherlin will continue to operate under its current management team. Additional terms were not disclosed.

Sutherlin was founded in 1977 and became a One Hour franchise in March 2004.

“Clockwork’s acquisition of Sutherlin is part of our growth strategy to acquire leading providers of air conditioning and heating services that have demonstrated their ability to serve the needs of residential customers through the delivery of professional customer service, fair pricing, and consistent, on-time performance - factors that continue to differentiate Clockwork’s One Hour Air Conditioning & Heating brand in the retail marketplace,” said Jim Abrams, CEO, Clockwork Home Services.

Clockwork currently operates electrical, plumbing, heating, and air conditioning franchises within its portfolio of home services franchises. For more information about One Hour Air Conditioning & Heating franchising, visit www.onehourair.com or call 800-746-0458.
