The Tranquility medium-temperature, R-410A water-to-water heat pumps are now available in sizes ranging from 3-28 tons (36,000-336,000 Btu). The TMW water-to-water series offers high efficiency and high capacity with quiet operation. The series can be used for radiant floor heating, snow/ice melt, chilled water for fan coils, and other installations. Standard features include microprocessor controls, galvanized steel cabinet, polyester powder coat paint, and TXV refrigerant metering device. The systems use EarthPure® HFC-410A refrigerant and contain scroll compressors, availing high capacity in a small footprint. The TMW has an extended range refrigerant circuit (refrigerant and water circuit insulation is standard) and is capable of ground loop (geothermal) applications as well as water-loop or boiler-tower applications.
